Saranya Concept School students participate very enthusiastically in the events and competitions organized within the school, intra-house as well as by the external organizations. Here is a brief description of each event / competition
Successive
Successive is a series of visionary competitions conducted by the commerce department with the support and encouragement of management and principal. It is a friendly platform created to bringout student talents and learn through healthy competition.
The 4 visionary competitions conducted were Quiz, Ad Making, Quest for tycoons and Be a Young Business Entrepreneur.
These competitions focus of essence of business, entrepreneur skills and managerial abilities of students.
This event, also highlights importance of commerce which is often stereotyped as the least career offering stream. Students of Commerce took a great responsibility to organize the event, testing and improving their leadership, communication and managerial skills.
This event helps students to understand the career options which are vast in the commerce stream and are essential for the economy.
Children’s Day Celebration (November 14th) – A Day of Joy, Fun, and Creativity
On November 14th, our school celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The day was filled with a variety of activities that catered to the diverse interests of our young learners.
Cultural Competitions: A Showcase of Talent
Competitions play a vital role in nurturing students’ skills and boosting their confidence.
Activities like map quizzes help improve geographical knowledge and analytical thinking, while rhymes competitions enhance creativity and linguistic abilities in younger students.
Monoacting provides a platform to showcase acting talent and develop expressive skills.
Debates encourage critical thinking, articulation, and the ability to understand diverse perspectives. Such events not only create a healthy competitive spirit but also foster teamwork, discipline, and an enthusiasm for learning, contributing to holistic development in school.
Class-Wise Fun Games: A Day of Frolic
To add an element of fun and excitement, a series of class-wise games were organized. These games encouraged teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition. Some of the games included:
* Three-Legged Race: Students worked together to coordinate their steps and reach the finish line.
* Sack Race: Students hopped their way to victory in this classic fun race.
* Musical Chairs: A timeless game that kept everyone on their toes.
* Treasure Hunt: Students embarked on a thrilling adventure to find hidden clues and treasures.
*Riddles, Volleyball, Throwball, Tug of War…..etc added an extra fun with team spirit and sportsmanship in the students to enjoy well the day.
A Memorable Day
The Children’s Day celebration was a resounding success. It provided a much-needed break from the routine academic schedule and allowed our students to relax, have fun, and learn new skills. The event also fostered a sense of camaraderie and school spirit among the students.
Bharat ko Jano Competition
It is a proud moment for Saranya students and staff. Once again our students have proved their talent in “Bharat Ko Jano” Quiz competition conducted on 10-11-19 at Ananthapuram by “Bharat Vikas Parishad”.
The main criteria of the competition is to bring awareness among the students about our country’s geographical features, history, politics, constitution, mythology etc.
Two teams in Junior category & Senior category took part in the competition at district level & made their mark. The students are T.S.S. Varshith & P.Chetan in Junior category & S.L.K Vaibhav & D. Vishnu Charan in the Senior category.
The students of senior category S.L.K Vibhav & D.Vishnu charan were selected for state level competition and secured second place in our State.

Chekumuki Talent Test
Jana Vignana Vedika has been conducting every year, a fulfilled, joyful and creative science fest by the name “Chekumuki Science Sambaralu” at school, mandal, district and state levels. This year school level test was conducted on 25th October 2019 in our school.

Our students have been taking active participation and bagged many prizes.
Aman karthik from VI class, T.S.S Varshith from VII class, Viswesh of VIII class, P.Kesav of IX class and CH.Harshitha of X class stood 1st in mandal level competition like every year and selected for district level.
Our Junior team Aman karthik from VI class, T.S.S Varshith from VII class stood first at the district level competition held on 8th Dec. 2019 – first among 64 teams.
Rashtriya Ekta Divas
The 144th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel was celebrated in our school as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Divas’ on 31st October 2019.

The students and teachers took the ‘Unity Pledge’ to uphold the national integrity. Speeches were given by students on the efforts of Sardar Vallabhai Patel towards integration of the country. Scouts team performed a march past.
Such a celebration at schools is really appreciable as today’s students are tomorrow’s citizens and it is our prime responsibility to motivate them towards united India. We are thankful to CBSE board for giving us this opportunity. ‘Ek Bharath Sresht Bharath’.
Green Olympiad (The Energy and Resources Institute – TERI)
The exam is conducted by Environment Education and Awareness Area (EEA) of TERI on 26.10.2019.
130 students took active participation in this exam from classes IV to X – at 3 levels (IV & V classes Level -1, VI to VIII classes Level – II & IX & X classes Level – III)

TERI has been conducting Green Olympiad to give great opportunity to drive students towards healthy environment around them and to make students active members by sending their contributions in the form of write ups, poetry, slogans, paintings etc.,
TERI Olympiad exam includes topics like pollution, global warming, scientists, sources of energy, e-waste, natural disasters, recycling measures etc from science, social and general knowledge. We thank parents for encouraging children to participate in the competitive exams and hope to see good ranks in the exam.
